The CEO of the “victory company,” Prof. Ahmed Ashqar, manages the company and follows up on cases and consultations through cooperation with the work staff. Prof. Ashqar is a former judge for ten years and a former employee in departments of the Supreme Judicial Council for six years. Currently, he is a licensed lawyer before civil, sharia, military, administrative, and constitutional courts. He has a PhD in public law, is a is a professor, and is the head of the legal sciences department at the Arab American University in Palestine. He is a member of the BAR of the International Criminal Court (ICCBA), a member of the International Bar in London (IBA), an international arbitrator at the Arab Arbitrators’ Center in Ciro, a member of the International Court for Disputes’ Settlement in England, a local arbitrator accredited by the Palestinian Ministry of Justice, and an expert in estimating moral damages. Prof. Ashqar worked as an expert and legal consultant at several international legal institutions, such as an advisor to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (Ohchr), the Raoul Wallenberg Institute for Human Rights and International Law in Sweden, and to many local and international civil society organizations.
